About the Program...
One of the oldest churches in Rogers Park, St. Paul's Church By-the-Lake, is offering classes in computer training to improve the job skills of area residents.

Called the Computer Learning Center, courses will be taught to adults and to children in the 6th grade and higher. Prospective students are sought through referrals from community groups and schools in the area.

Using up-to-date equipment, students will learn popular software programs for business and personal use, such as Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keyboard (Typing), Novice Computer Skills and others. Topics such as how to type, using e-mail and writing resumes also will be covered. Classes are held one night each week for six weeks from 7-9 PM in our Computer Training Center.

Instructional charges are waived for low-income studnets, persons out of work and senior persons. Their is a $20 registration fee to cover the cost of class materials. Enrollment in each class is capped at six students to ensure maximum attendtion to individuals.

St. Paul's by-the-Lake is an Episcopal Church serving Rogers Park since 1882 and part of the worldwide Anglican Communion. Enrollment is open to all regardless of religious affiliation.
