Choir

The choir of St. Paul's Church by-the-Lake is made up of eight to ten people of all ages and voice ranges.

The chief purpose of our choir is the singing of the 10:30 am Sunday Mass. We use the Propers from the English Gradual and the Hymnal 1940. Throughout the Church year we have six different Communion services, all of which we use.

At Christmas and Easter, we give 15 minute concerts of sacred music prior to the service. We sing Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and the Great Easter Vigil during Holy Week.

Special anthems, solos, small groups and instrumentalists are added to Sunday Mass on a regular basis.

We rehearse on Sunday mornings at 9:45 am and on Saturday mornings from 10:30 am to 11:30 am as announced.

Anyone intereseted in singing in the choir, please see the organist after 10:30 am Mass
